True RMS capable DMMs measure AC voltages accurately, allowing a better comparison of theoretical and actual circuit values. Many multimeters only measure the average value of an AC waveform. True RMS AC measurement is usually found only on more expensive DMMs, but the Q 1073 includes this plus a host of other features, at a very reasonable price! In addition it features auto ranging & power off, a 10MHz frequency counter, capacitance, temperature (probe included), transistor test (hFE) ranges and a Relative measurement function. The Relative function will display the change in value from an initial measurement.
